How-To-Commission-Page:

So, this is how it works: When you want me to draw your character ( or something else) the obvious first Step should be contacting me to let me know it. This is simple and quite easy to do: You can either email me ( there's a big mailbutton at the bottom of my homepage), or page me as Terrie on either FurryMUCK or SPR ( You can also page Jill on SPR, she's an alt of me). If these two ways are undesirable for some reason, I also have a real life contact address:

Boris Chwosta
Liechtensteinstrasse 130a
A-1090 Vienna
AUSTRIA
( and just to reassure you: If you're a bit intimidated by all the stuff below, I'm always ready to explain it again personally :) )

We will then discuss what exactly you want me to draw ( don't worry if you're low on ideas and still want a picture, I can help out there), and what medium you want the picture to be in. As you have seen, I draw mostly Furry art with fantasy or everyday live themes. Other genres are fine too but you'll bear the risk of how it turns out. I have no problems to draw cheese- or beefcake, but outright spooge I'll usually do just for people I know. I can *not draw anything with a character that's copyrighted without direct agreement from the characters owner. I reserve the right to refuse any commission on personal reasons ( though I can't think of those offhand ;) If you are in doubt whether I would draw something, contact me! It cannot hurt and doesn't cost you. I'm proficient in most media, but most of my work is done with pencil, inked, or colored pencil. I will also give you a first estimate of how much it will probably cost you ( depending on complexity and medium used) Prices will usually range between 20 and 50 $ plus postage. ( with very complicated pictures, or such with more than one character being more expensive). The exact price will also vary a bit due to currency exchange rates.

I will then ask you to email or snail mail me a copy of all the details I need, like your characters description and such. If I can take the commission on a MUCK it's easier as I'll just log what I need from you.

Once I got everything I'll get to work on the first sketches, doing the layout and such, until I got a pencil sketch that I think will fit your wishes. This I now scan and email you the file.

You can now either say "Hey, great! just as I wanted it!" or, if some details are *not to your satisfaction, you can tell me what you want to have changed. I will then do the necessary changes, scan it again, send it again and so on until we're both happy with how the picture looks.

I will then tell you how much the final price will be and we'll discuss how you want to pay ( money order and cheque are ok, other forms of payment are up to discussion), and I'll give you the information you need to make the cash transfer. You then go and send the cash on it's way.

As soon as I received the payment I will draw the clean, refined version of the picture on high quality, acid free Bristol board, and you'll receive the picture along with all the sketches and possible doodles that I came up with in the process. Unless you demand otherwise I retain the right to load the picture up on my page, sell it as prints later or similar.
